Nice use of Reason. This is a really clean production. My only beef with this song is the tempo. I know you probably wouldn't of liked it faster but that's just me. Great job on this one. The intro would've sounded awesome with a frequency rolling break.

Karbon responds:

I don't know why, but anything between 175-180BPM for dnb songs annoys me for some reason.

I actualy used both Reason and Fruity Loops. I made the drums in Reason, and everything else in Fruity Loops. The Fruity Loops interface is way easier to use, and Sytrus is a great VST for reeces believe it or not.

Thanks for the kudos man. I love She's Electric! So liquid! :)

Drama Yo.

Not bad. Arrangement was really good, sound was good, piano was good fuck you, umm penis. Only thing I need to say is that you need is a better orchestral soundbank. Get's my 5.

Thanks for your vote, Glib! You voted 5 for The Introduction--_--(1:08), raising its score from 2.50 to 3.33.

PERVOK responds:

Nothing I can do about having shitty orchaestral sounds :(

Not bad.

Still lots to improve but your fairly new to making music :D.

It just takes time and practice and you'll eventually be amazing!

HiniberusDelius responds:

It was my frist track and until defied reality I didn't have the full version so they all had to be 1 nighters lol. Thanks though I'll keep you updated.

Not bad.

This song was actually OK. But it randomly started changing at different points. A steady kick drum would've improved it by abit.

:)

HiniberusDelius responds:

Yeah, thing is that I only saved a pattern accidentaly but I had an earlier version so I had to use that.

Meh.

It's definitely not the greatest thing I've heard. I'm going to be brutally honest. Arrangement wise it was messy. Many notes were out of sync and pitchy. You also need to work on your drum programming. Not bad in your early stages though.

I'm going to vote 5/5 on all your songs to raise your scores a bit.

HiniberusDelius responds:

Heh -_- I'm gonna work on that though, hopefully my next track will be better arrangement wise so yeah... Thanks for the 5's though much apprciated!

Nice choon.

Really nice. Great quality loop. You got the glitchy hats down quite nicely. I would've liked to seen a more powerful kick since it would've contrasted well with the pitchbending of the hats. A more "electronic" snare would've been nice too.

Get's my 5 and good luck with the competition!

Spikrodd responds:

thanks for that, glib! I wanted to focus on the hats in this rather than any other elements. i made an IDM drum loop and then replaced it w/ hats (nice accomplishment, if i may say) It was just a little experimenting...

check out my other song! go down a little, like 4 or so songs, youll see...

Noice.

Really nice. Great song, great quality glitching. Some of the chords were too overpowering at spots. The only thing I didn't like was when the glockenspiel was all alone. You should look into

Telefon Tel Aviv

Check them out on the iTunes store.

SineRider responds:

Aye, I checked em out. But Itunes is never really good for getting a feel for the music ya know. I may have to buy some :)

Thanks for the critisms

Its IDM. I know that much.

Really great piece. Acidic intro was nice. Sounds like edIT vs. a tb-303. Love this one. Especially the rushing kicks. :) Anyways great stuff.

Tanks!
(no, seriously - behind you - TANKS!)

The whole thing was done with 4 synths.
The percussion is made up of one instance of Massive and one of Reaktor and there are 2 more synths that were born from Zebra2 (those 303 like chunks)- I had a lot of fun making this one. You're another one on my "Much respect goes out to" list and I always appreciate it when you leave reviews!

Thanks again!

Sleep.

Jesus. Really nice soundscape. Nothing else to say.

:D Lol. I just submitted my MAC7 loop. Give it a listen if you have time and tell me what you think.

SineRider responds:

hah sure I'll check it right now

Nice.

Reminiscent of an Aphex song titled "How Cud is a Twin". Sort late 90-ish IDM scene feel to it. Good job.

LJCoffee responds:

Hey thanks man - I just recently got a few new synths and decided to play with them a bit. It started out as just a test but I liked the way it turned out and figured I'd post what I have so far. I may try to pull a complete track out of this but I'm not sure if I can... Thanks again for commenting on it!
